DBS Verification

 

The Tutors Network can process an Enhanced DBS application for you via our partner, CareCheck.

We charge no fee for this service.

Instructions

1. REFERENCE - Please enter TUTORSNETWORK as the Organisation Reference. Leave the Organisation Code blank.

2. SEND DOCUMENTS - The CareCheck fee is £51.20. Once you’ve completed the form and paid via CareCheck, you need to send us post-office verified documents of the following:

One document from Group 1
Two further documents from either Group 1 or Group 2a or 2b (please see below)


Please post these documents to The Tutors Network, South Park Studios, 88 Peterborough Rd, Fulham, London SW6 3HH. If you cannot post these required documents to us with, with Post Office verification, we unfortunately cannot support your DBS application.

3. CONFIRM - once these documents have been received, we will confirm your application with CareCheck. The process then takes between 24 hours and 5 days (for 85% of applicants) to complete, after which time you will receive your certification in the post.

Group 1:

- Passport: Any current and valid passport
- Biometric Residence Permit UK
- Current valid driving licence photocard: (Full or Provisional) UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and EEA.
- Birth Certificate issued within 12 months of birth: UK. Isle of Man and Channel Islands, including those issued by UK authorities overseas E.G embassies, High Commissions and HM Forces
- Adoption Certificate: UK and Channel Islands

Group 2a:

- Current valid driving licence photocard: (Full or Provisional) including all non-EEA countries
- Current valid driving licence photocard: (Full or Provisional) UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and EEA.
- Birth Certificate issued within 12 months of birth: UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands
- Marriage/Civil Partnership Certificate: UK and Channel Islands
- HM Forces ID Card: UK
- Firearms Licence: UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands


Group 2b:

- Mortgage statement: UK or EEA, issued in last 12 months
- Bank or building society statement: countries outside the EEA , issued in the last 3 months – branch must be in the country where the applicant lives and works
- Bank or building society account opening confirmation letter: UK, issued within last 3 months
- Credit card statement: UK or EEA, issued within last 3 months
- Financial statement (e.g pension or endowment): UK, issued in the last 12 months
- P45 or P60 statement: UK and Channel Islands, issued in last 12 months
- Council tax statement: UK and Channel Islands, issued in last 12 months
- Letter of sponsorship from future employment provider: Non-UK or non-EEA only. Valid only for applicants residing outside of the UK at time of application, must still be valid
- Benefit statement e.g child benefit/ pension: UK, issued in last 3 month
- Central or local government, government agency or local council document giving entitlement, e.g, from the department for work and pensions, the employment service, HMRC: UK and Channel Islands, issued in last 3 months
- EEA National ID card: must still be valid
- Cards carrying ‘pass’ accreditation logo: UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, must still be valid
- Letter from teacher or college principal: UK – for 16-19 year olds in full time education. Can only be used in exceptional circumstances if other documents cannot be provided, must still be valid
